Chris Barber started operating Whangarei Coastal Commuter in 2008 as the Tutukaka Dive Shuttle between Whangarei and Tutukaka Marina.
Chris was originally a Quarantine Scientist with MAF in Auckland. He has lived in the Whangarei District for the last 12 years and is well-known on the Tutukaka Coast for his great local knowledge and friendly, approachable personality.
The Whangarei Coastal Commuter fleet has grown to 4 vehicles over the time the business has been operating. Whangarei Coastal Commuter can handle a wide range of transport jobs and sizes to fit with your special requirements.
Chris holds a Passenger Service License to operate the business and has a P endorsement for passenger transport on his license, which provides the approval to carry passengers in both small vehicles and buses.
